Data protection notice
Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), OTM Ortodonti ve Diş Tedavi Kliniği, as data controller, processes your personal data within the scope described below when you visit the FACE Akademi Türkiye site and apply for the course.

What Data Is Processed
The site has no membership, registration, payment or analytics system; no cookies are used and our servers keep no record of your visit. The only data processed is what you send us:
- Course application. The name, email address, phone number, country, city and message you send with the application form are processed to evaluate your application, contact you and complete your course registration.
- Contact. When you reach us by email, the contact form or WhatsApp, the contact details and message you send are processed to answer your question. WhatsApp conversations are also processed on Meta’s servers; we recommend sharing sensitive information by email rather than through this channel.
What you send through the forms is stored on our server in Istanbul, Turkey and delivered to our team through an email delivery service.
Legal Basis
Your application data is processed under Article 5/2-(c) of the Law because it is directly related to the conclusion and performance of the course contract; your contact messages are processed under Article 5/2-(f) on the basis of legitimate interest, so that your request can be answered.
Transfer and International Transfer
Your data is not sold or transferred to third parties for marketing purposes. If you are accepted to the course, your name and contact details are shared with the course instructors and the organisation team to run the training. Form contents are transferred to the servers of our email delivery provider Resend, Inc. (USA) in the European Union (Ireland) in order to be delivered to our team as email. While the page loads, two software libraries are fetched from a provider abroad; during that load your IP address is transmitted to that server out of technical necessity. Details are given in the Privacy and Cookie Policy’.
Retention Period
Applications and correspondence are kept until the end of the relevant course period and the period required by law; at the end of that period they are deleted or anonymised.
Your Rights
Under Article 11 of the Law you have the right to:
- Learn whether your personal data is being processed
- Request information about it if it has been processed
- Learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose
- Know the third parties to whom it is transferred in Türkiye or abroad
- Request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate
- Request its deletion or destruction
- Request that corrections, deletions and destructions be notified to the third parties to whom the data was transferred
- Object to a result against you arising from analysis exclusively by automated systems
- Claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing

In line with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, you can submit your requests, together with information identifying you, by email to murat@otm.com.tr or in writing to Farabi Sokak No: 22/A, Çankaya, Ankara. Your application is concluded within thirty days at the latest.
